Day 4 - Mejillones - Iquique 552 Klm
A Day on the Coast
The ocean waves were in our sights nearly every moment of this beautiful day. We saw flocks of birds coasting low over the water and it was easy to imagine ourselves the same: free to lean into the breeze and fly (on our motorcycles).
Felipe left the highway and flew his Aprila over the hard sand. The aduanas stop was simple; a quick rest, stretch, and some cookies. We stopped to pay our respects at the old cemetery on the beach.
When we arrived in Iquique at the beautiful Military Hotel we were hungry for "lunch" at 18:00, so we went to find food in "ten minutes dressed the way that you are". (Mas o menos) Pancho had a handsome passenger as we visited the beautiful plaza and took photographs.
Later in the evening we walked to the Casino and there discovered an incredible band. I don't know their name, but they were really really good, especially the dancers.

Día 4 - Mejillones a Iquique 552 Klm - Un Dia en la Costa
Las olas se mostraban ante nosotros casi en todo momento de este hermoso día. Vimos como las bandadas de pájaros costeaban sobre el agua y era fáci imaginar que eran iguales a nosotors en nuestras motocicletas. Felipe se salió de la carretera y piloteó su moto sobre la arena dura.
La parada de aduana fue simple; muy rápida. Estiramiento, y algunas galletas.
Paramos para dar nuestros respetos en el viejo cementerio chinchorro en la playa.
Cuando llegamos a Iquique al hotel militar, teniamos hambre para el "almuerzo" de las 18:00, así que fuimos a buscar alimento en "diez minutos vestidos y listos y con la moto andando" (casi - jaja). Pancho tenía un pasajero guapo (Fernando) mientras que visitamos la hermosa plaza de Iquique y tomamos muchas fotografías.
Más adelante por la tarde, caminamos hacia el Casino d Iquique y se descubrió una banda increíble. No sé cual es su nombre, pero eran realmente... "realmente" buenos, especialmente las bailarinas!

Que buenos los comentarios, las fotos, los videos y los recuerdos de este maravilloso viaje.
Tira los dias uno al dia para asi poder viajar 10 dias mas......
