Ayuda Urgente
Dear friends / Amigos:
We are all familiar thru the news with the catastrophic earthquake from that early Saturday morning one month ago in Chile, with the subsequent tsunami and hundreds of aftershocks.
Many of you might have sent aid thru different organizations and we thank you. But the truth is that any help falls short due to the magnitude of the disaster.
El tema del terremoto lo conocemos a través de los diarios y las noticias y probablemente hemos ayudado en la Teletón u otras campañas.
La verdad es que cualquier ayuda será poca dada la magnitud del desastre.

Our group of Harley bikers has taken on the challenge to help directly the town of Puertas Verdes en Constitucion. This is a town of about 150 families who lost everything.
Felipe Serrano, one of us, has been in touch and visited these homeless families, who are shaken and totally confused without any hope and in total misery.
We started a few weeks ago a campaign to collect funds to be delivered directly, also bringing them portable kitchens, cookware and gadgets to 50 families. What do we do now for the other 100 families? We couldn’t just leave them without help. We firmly believe on the multiplication of the loaves.
Hemos adoptado el desafío de ayudar directamente a la Población Puertas Verdes en Constitución que cuenta con 150 familias que lo perdieron todo.
Felipe Serrano, uno de los nuestros, ha estado en contacto y ha visitado a estas familias que están desamparadas en lo material y en lo humano.
Comenzamos una campaña de recolección de fondos para entregar directamente, cocinillas, balones de gas, ollas e implementos de cocina a 50 familias. Pero ¿qué hacemos con las 100 restantes? No nos podemos hacer los desentendidos así es que nos tiramos nomás. Confiaremos en la multiplicación de los panes.
Our help will be direct, without any intermediaries nor distribution channels. There are 150 families waiting for us.
Nuestra ayuda será directa, sIn intermediarios ni canales de distribución. Hay 150 familias que nos están esperando.
The breakdown of the help needed is resumed in 5 items:
El aporte necesario es en 5 ítems:
1) Cocinillas $21.063 c/u – Portable kitchens
2) Balones de gas $11.300 c/u – Propane tanks
3) Utensilios de cocina: Juegos de ollas, platos y servicio. $16.000 c/u – Cookware and gadgets
4) Alimentos para compartir ese día $1.500.000 en total – Food to deliver and share.
5) Parte de nuestro tiempo este sábado. Esto no tiene valor.- Our time helping all these people this Saturday, is priceless.
Total de la ayuda: $8.700.000 (US$17.400) – Total needed for all these families.
El total de aportes conseguidos es de $6.350.000 (US$12.700) – Total collected so far.
Falta por conseguir: $2.350.000 (US$4.700,00) – Still needed to collect.
Also Felipe Serrano was able to get a 20’ container full of clothing collected by the Nativity Church, it will be delivered as well.
Además Felipe Serrano consiguió un container de 20 pies lleno de ropa recolectada por la Iglesia de la Natividad y que será repartida en el lugar.
Chile is very familiar to natural disasters. Ours is the most seismic and prone to tsunamis country in the world, but we know how to rise up again and again. But we still need a lot of material help.
Up until today we have received many donations thru lots of collections and campaigns and we are very thankful, but there is still room to help, let’s give a strong last effort.
Chile está acostumbrado a los desastres. Tenemos un país sísmico y de maremotos, pero sabemos levantarnos una y otra vez. Pero necesitamos ayuda material.
Hoy enfrentamos "stress de donaciones" en Chile. Muchas campañas, colectas y nos han dejado con pocas posibilidades de seguir ayudando. Hagamos un último esfuerzo.

This Saturday (March 3th) we will leave Santiago at 7:30 AM on our goodwill motorcade to deliver all the help. We will have 2 big trucks, 2 large Pick-Up trucks and all the Harley bikers with a great heart to help our brothers in need (we want to group at least 20).
Este sábado partiremos a las 7:30, en caravana a Constitución a entregar nuestra ayuda. Iremos con dos camiones, dos camionetas y todos los Harlistas de buen corazón (queremos juntar 20 al menos)
The municipal authorities will help us on delivering all the donations.
Nos esperarán autoridades municipales que ayudarán en la repartición. Para seguridad de los vehículos y las motos, existirá un lugar habilitado y custodiado todo el tiempo.

De todas maneras voy a Constituciòn, tenemos un deber moral de acompañar aunque sea con nuestras bestias a estos sufridos compatriotas....Vamos Canquetos, dejemos en alto nuestro grupo y juntemos los 20 jinetes de la esperanza, de la ilusiòn y de la satisfacciòn del deber cumplido... FURRZA CHILE I VIVA POR LOS CANQUETOS... Y TU ? QUE OPINAS? TE ESPERAMOS EL SABADO, UN ABRAZO
